Dženan Hadžihasanović was born in Sarajevo in 1987. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, at the Department of Painting, University of Sarajevo and graduated from the summer academy "Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts".

He is a student of the Department of Conservation and Restoration, at the Arts Academy in Split, Croatia.

He is actively engaged in the conservation and restoration of wall painting, and has so far worked on the restoration and conservation of 15 buildings in BiH of exceptional cultural historical significance, such as the Sarajevo City Hall; Ferhadija mosque in Sarajevo and Banja Luka; Jewish cemetery, Sarajevo; Orthodox church, Sarajevo; Atik Behram-begova mosque, Tuzla; Ferhat Pasha mosque, Banja Luka; Varoš mosque, Travnik; Svrzo’s house, Sarajevo; Džudža džaferov mosque, Tomislavgrad, and so on.

He is actively engaged in painting and exhibits at individual and group exhibitions in B&H and Europe.

He has exhibited at numerous international collective and solo exhibitions, some of which are - "Blank Title" at the Prometeo Gallery di Ida Pisani in Milan, Italy; Espace TILT in Renens, Switzerland; Kunstraum Walcheturm in Zurich, Switzerland; Collegium artisticum Gallery in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; "Hands of Time" in Zvono Gallery in Sarajevo, BiH; "Treat Yourself in an Foreign Land" - La Charlama Theater at Bone 16, Performance Festival; Schlachthaus Theater in Bern, Switzerland; "Hands of Time" at Alcatraz Halain Gallery in Austria; La Charlama teatar performs "Jump in to the Unknown"; and performance on a collateral event at the 56th Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art "La Biennale di Venezia", Venice, Italy.

At 2017., he won The Asolo Rotary Club Award for Young Artists.

He is a member of Association of Applied Artists and Designers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Association of artists in B&H, and is an active figure in the cultural scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He is represented by Prometeo Gallery di Ida Pisani.
